I happen to speak with a person from the same area (one of the 3 districts under threat) and he told me that this dam is 100+ year old has cracks already in it. He sees it as real threat to 3 Keral dristricts. According to him, there is no problem Tamilnadu getting water from the dam but safety of people should be priority and the dam should be rebuild.
