Ettumanoorappan College is a self-financing co-educational College affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. It was established in 1995 and is managed by Ettumanoor Education Society, registered under the Charitable Societies Act 1985. The Founder President of the college is Late Mr. N Ramakrishna Pillai (Retd. Headmaster).

The college has a well equipped library with journals on science. The reference section is enriched with all the materials a student need. The library is fully computerized which enables the students easy access.

All students admitted to the college are members of the college library.  The library timing will be from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The library will remain open on all working days except second Saturdays and Public holidays. Students will be permitted to take two books on loan at a time. Books taken on loan should be returned to the library within a period of one week. Those who exceed the Time limit will be charged a fine at the rate of `2.00 per day. Books in the reference section will not be lent. Sports & Games The College provides facilities for sports and games, and those who are interested can make use of the opportunities before and after the class hours. A teacher who has previous background in Sports and Games will be in charge of it till a lecturer in Physical Education is appointed in the College.
